6. Everest Glossary
Everest Glossary is another kind of dictionary. Advantages:
- You can create your own glossaries. How to create a glossary from a text file:
- You have to provide a text file with the following structure:
- Every record must be located on a separated line
- It's recommended to put "=" (without quotes) between definition and meaning
- All records must be in lowercase format. If they are not, Everest Glossary Importer will convert the text file content to lowercase for you
- Press on Import glossary button and select file. You have to provide a glossary name
- Add records is still not working. But if you want to insert records into your own saved glossary, append your records on the original text file, use Import Glossary and overwrite your old glossary.
- You can share your glossaries with your friends using Everest Share module.
- It is possible to search words across all glossaries
- Fast search: Everest Glossary database is build for search speed
- Small footprint: does not use application ram memory when searching
- How it works: Enter some words in "Search" field, press on Enter or on Find button
- You can search from only one glossary using search filter. When you press on Find button, search filter is removed.
Attention: Search method is case sensitive !
