11. Regional settings

Starting with version 3.10, Everest Dictionary is supported on Windows witch display data using unicode characters.
If you loaded French Larousse dictionary and Everest looks like:

 tutor11-1

go to Regional Options (Windows NT/2000/XP: Start -> Settings -> ControlPannel -> Regional Options). Regional Options window should look like (Default language settings is set to Japanese language in my example) :

 tutor11-2

Check "Western Europe and United States", and then press on Apply button. Insert Windows CD and wait to complete and then reboot windows.

 tutor11-3

After reboot Everest should look like:

 tutor11-4
prev I think this solution should work on Windows NT/2000/XP.
I think for Windows 95/98/ME you should select Central European language support from Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Windows Setup -> Multilanguage Support -> (Central European).
I only have Windows 2000 on my computer and I don't know if Everest works properly on Windows 95/98/ME.
